Your role exists to help the National Manager, Business Operational Risk to manage Distribution’s risks in line with the Group’s Operational Risk Management Framework.

You’ll work in close collaboration with key stakeholders to provide specialist risk advice to the Colonial First State (CFS) Distribution team.

You’ll be joining the Business Operations team. We support the dynamic and successful CFS Distribution team by providing insights, training and efficient work practices to assist them in being the chosen wealth partner of licensees and advisers.

In any given week you will

  • Assist the National Manager manage Distribution risks in line with CFSIL/AIL Risk Appetite statements and Group Policy
  • Implement the CBA Groups Operational Risk Management Framework for the CFS Distribution team
  • Plan, scope and perform detailed risk reviews on business strategy, projects and business processes into targeted areas of concern
  • Assist the National Manager with periodic communications, reporting, engagements, presentations and workshops with and to the Distribution Leadership team
  • Assist the National Manager in writing Board papers for relevant Risk Committees
  • Review and maintenance of the Distribution Risk Profile including identification and management of incidents, issues and breaches
  • Review of new and updated Group polices including conducting appropriate gap analysis

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Sound understanding of the financial services industry (i.e. Superannuation/Investment products, financial advice) and the current regulatory environment
  • Experience with risk management frameworks
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills with individuals at all levels of seniority
  • Demonstrable prioritisation, organisation and time management skills
  • Relevant tertiary and RG146 qualifications
